AD Energy Recruitment is partnering with a global clean energy and resource recovery technology provider to identify a Service Team Leader (SVL) to oversee and coordinate technical service operations across industrial and biogas facilities.

This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of technical service interventions — covering both scheduled maintenance and emergency response. The SVL will play a central role in customer satisfaction, operational planning, and team management, ensuring that service operations meet contractual, technical, and financial objectives.

Mission

Deliver an efficient and proactive technical assistance service — preventing, managing, and resolving electromechanical faults through both planned and reactive maintenance, while ensuring plant reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Objectives

• Organize and oversee all service activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and contractual timelines.

• Guarantee customer satisfaction through prompt, professional technical response.

• Manage maintenance schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently.

• Provide accurate technical and commercial evaluations of service activities.

• Promote continuous improvement and innovation in maintenance practices.

• Support the growth of service operations by identifying and promoting technical assistance opportunities.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field service teams and subcontractors.

• Manage customer relationships, providing clear communication and functional solutions.

• Oversee the scheduling, execution, and documentation of all maintenance interventions.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of site activities and performance data.

• Manage supplier relationships, review quotations, and approve modifications to enhance plant reliability.

• Develop and maintain tools for tracking maintenance history, intervention records, and user mapping.

• Stay up to date on sector innovations, maintenance technologies, and best practices.

• Promote the sale of technical service and maintenance solutions to existing and new clients.

Safety and Quality

• Enforce compliance with safety documentation (e.g., PSC, POS).

• Ensure that all employees and contractors are equipped with appropriate PPE and safety training.

• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards during all maintenance and service operations.

• Lead by example to promote a strong safety culture on-site and within the team.

Requirements

Below is a breakdown of the requirements for the role:

Education

Diploma or degree in one of the following technical disciplines:

• Civil Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Chemical Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance or service management within industrial plant construction or renewable energy environments.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of service and maintenance contract management.

• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary service teams.

• Skilled in customer relationship management and technical problem-solving.

• Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and cost/revenue management for maintenance activities.

• Experience in supplier management, purchasing, and resource planning.

• Fluent in Italian; good command of English preferred.

Soft Skills

• Leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and qualify team members.

• Clear understanding of how service performance impacts company operations and sales strategies.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional communication abilities.

Desirable

• Knowledge of additional European languages.

• Experience within waste treatment, anaerobic digestion, or water treatment sectors.
