AD Energy is working in partnership with an International Innovator of high-quality solar power electronics, in search for a Sales Director (B2B Wholesale/ Channel Sales). This is a newly created position that will play a fundamental role in the organisation’s strategic growth plans in Poland. With an existing lean team locally, this position will add additional regional sales leadership and strategic planning to the operation.

Originating from South East Asia, our client is a pioneer in solar pv optimisation technology and supplies their premium products to the residential, commercial and utilities solar market across the globe!

This position will offer a dynamic and enthusiastic senior sales leader/ commercial director an exciting challenge to further establish, control, and manage all sales and business development activities for the market area concerned and make a real progressive impact. The role will focus on consolidating the the distribution and wholesale network across the country, as well as increasing the positioning of the brand in the region.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Reporting to the General Manager of Europe
  • Full commercial sales and business development responsibility in the region concerned
  • Undertake market research for strategy refinement and business planning
  • Prepare annual plans, monthly sales and P/L sales reports
  • Effectively implement and execute commercial market strategy
  • Utilise and pursue business relations with all-sized Distributors and Wholesalers
  • Keep abreast of influencing market drivers, competitive market factors that might potentially effect company market share, and local solar pv market
  • Successfully and actively work on increasing market share
  • Pursue a proactive market approach for new client acquisition
  • Oversee the local team members, encouraging them to help execute sales business plan for the country
  • Coordinate internal and external support for sales, business development, and marketing
  • Be an advocate for the brand and company, be fully immersed with the product portfolio
  • Participate in industry exhibitions, tradeshows, conference and relevant meeting as leading company representative

Key Requirements:

  • Degree-educated within Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 8 years’ local sales experience within the Solar PV Industry
  • Must have occupied a senior sales supervisor, sales director, head of commercial sales roles alike
  • Possess an in depth and extensive pv market knowledge and technical product aptitude
  • Direct experience and knowledge with solar or pv inverters would be an advantage
  • Established pv connection network with large distributors and installers is essential
  • Must have active business connections with B2B partners in the solar and energy storage market
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation and communication skills
  • Strategic and flexible nature, able to adapt accordingly
  • Ability to prioritize high priority demands and workloads, work effectively in intense environment
  • Detail-orientated, a good problem solver
  • Fluent English language ability, and business fluent Polish

Only candidates possessing direct experience in technical sales, commercial leadership, and Solar/ Photovoltaic industry knowledge will be considered. It is also essential that the candidate is based in Poland with the national language ability.
