RNG Project Manager

AD Energy are working closely with one of our clients who are developers of RNG projects across North America. They have a superb opportunity to join their team as a Project Manager, and work on some very exciting projects.

The RNG Project Manager will manage the development and implementation of multiple large renewable natural gas processing facilities across the portfolio. You will oversee construction, and commissioning of multiple projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost. You will be responsible and show key leadership and project work direction to internal and external engineering, permitting, procurement, project controls, and construction personnel.

Salary: $150,000 – $180,000

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple large capital projects, some of which may be already in progress. Ensures the constructability of the scope of work and engineering design of the project.
  • Works closely with in-house Construction Management team to manage the progress of each construction project from the scoping phase through the design, construction, and closeout phases. This is inclusive of project scope, schedule, and cost estimate tracking; engineering and construction; and commissioning into service and project closeout. Manages cost and schedule forecasting, and cost and schedule change control.
  • Manages project expenditures and coordinates the procurement of equipment and materials through inhouse Supply Chain team.
  • Manages and integrates project construction with Operations; coordinates with Construction and Supply Chain in conducting bid meetings and reviews, supplier selections and evaluations.
  • Manages project scope, schedule & cost changes ensuring that all project requirements and/or objectives and the execution of changes are properly documented, justified, and approved; implements approved changes in a timely manner.
  • Manages communications, risk management, scope verification, and information distribution during project development & implementation; ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Interfaces with the respective internal and external project stakeholders as needed.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field; 5+ years’ relevant experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience.
