AD Energy is working with our leading RNG developer client in the US, who is looking for an RNG Business Manager in the Central Valley of California.
Reporting to the Vice President, RNG Operations, the Business Manager, RNG – Central Valley, CA is a commercial manager responsible for overseeing the operations, maintenance, commercial and relationship management with the host and satellite manure farms.
· The Business Manager is responsible for ensuring that pre-commissioning activities and operations of Central Valley RNG are being managed in a prudent and best practices manner.
· The Business Manager will prepare a report and meet monthly with Senior Leadership to review operations.
· The Business Manager will be the main point of contact on any commercial arrangements as well as the main point of contact on expense management to the approved budget.
· Central Valley is two separate host farms (located in Central Valley CA) with multiple satellite farms for each. Manure is collected at the host and satellite farms, converted into biogas in digesters, and processed into Renewable Natural Gas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for maintaining relationships and commercial arrangements with all satellite and host farms to ensure an adequate supply of manure is always maintained.
· Will be the main point of contact and relationship manager with Host Farms, Satellite Farms, Virtual Pipeline Operator, and Injection Point
· Responsible for producing a budget that is in line with the long term proforma model and produces expected returns and cash flows to Owner.
· Responsible for oversight of O&M of Digesters, Satellite Farm Manure supply systems, RNG Upgraders, Virtual Pipeline and microgrid
· Responsible for transparency in data and expenses of the operations
· Ensuring all conditions of financing (if any) are properly met.
· Oversee construction and project management from current construction phase through the completion and settlement of all construction contracts
Qualifications & Skills:
· Ten+ years of Commercial and Operational Dairy Farm Management experience
· Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
· Bachelor’s degree in business (preferred; not required)
· Logistically, must live within a 90-minute commute from location (60 miles south of Sacramento, CA)
· Work Hours: Monday – Friday; standard business hour
