This new position will become a member of an established pan-European Team of product enthusiasts, technical trainers, and PV ESS socialites! The aim of this post holder is to manager and oversee all product support & and technical training in the DACH region.
It is imperative to have a technical (presales/ aftersales/ product support) background in Solar and Renewables. You must have fluent proficiency in German and English and reside in Germany with the mobility to travel across the region a maximum of up to and nor more than 50% of the time.
• Coordinating with Sales Team and maintaining communication with key customers and open new channels to increase and improve customer relationships
• Coordinating with Technical Service department for to ensure customer’s requirements are met in terms of:
1. Remote and on-site technical support for commissioning
2. Pre-sales and aftersales engineering guidance as necessary
• Organise and Provide Training to Distributors, Installers and Customers providing different levels of training based on customer’s needs and technical requirements
• Coordinate and share knowledge within the Product Solutions Team on different solutions available and their correct implementation
• Support product team for establishing system solutions for Europe’s PV business by:
1. Seeking out, identifying, and tracking market demands and setting up a channel between the Product Manager and key customers to establish strategic measures to compete in the market
2. Identifying the needs of key customers, help define new product features and coordinating with product teams and engineering to ensure that needs are met in products.
3. Communicating to product team customer feedback to meet regulatory requirements
4. Attend industry trade shows and marketing events to support the improvement and expansion of the company’s brand recognition
Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as renewable energy, environmental science, engineering, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
PV Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of photovoltaic systems, solar energy technologies, and the PV industry is essential. Knowledge of solar panels, inverters, energy storage, and related components is crucial.
Sales and Customer Service Skills: Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are important for interacting with customers and promoting PV solutions. Sales or customer service experience is beneficial.
Technical Competence: Good technical knowledge related to solar energy systems, installation, and maintenance is valuable.
Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of local regulations, incentives, and policies related to solar energy, as well as familiarity with permitting and interconnection processes.
Comprehensive knowledge of the company’s PV products and solutions, including their features, benefits, and technical specifications.
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships, as well as collaborate with internal teams
