Plant Operator – RNG

AD Energy US is seeking a dedicated and skilled RNG Plant Operator to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our Renewable Natural Gas facility in Ringle, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and safe processing of biogas into pipeline-quality RNG, adhering to all regulatory standards and company protocols.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Operations: Monitor and control plant systems, including anaerobic digesters, gas purification units, compressors, and related equipment, to ensure optimal performance.

• Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, such as pumps, blowers, valves, and instrumentation.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, conduct hazard assessments, and participate in safety training sessions to maintain a secure work environment.

• Data Management: Maintain accurate logs and records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and compliance reports using computerized systems.

• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, equipment failures, or other emergencies, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other plant personnel, contractors, and management to coordinate activities and share best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in industrial operations, preferably in RNG, biogas, or related energy sectors.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems; familiarity with SCADA systems and PLCs is advantageous.

• Certifications: Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain necessary operator qualifications and safety certifications as required.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with gas compression and purification systems.

• Knowledge of environmental regulations related to RNG operations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
