AD Energy are working on an exciting opportunity for an Operations Engineer with one of our key clients who are the leading developer of Renewable Natural Gas Plants in the USA.

Operations Engineer responsibilities
· Monitors chemical, mechanical, and biological KPIs for fleet of anaerobic digesters and makes recommendations for operational improvement
· Provides technical skills for identification and execution of operational strategies for optimization of plant operations and RNG production
· The Operations Engineer Supports new AD projects through end of commissioning phase into full operation
· Supports the establishment of a standardized “capital improvement project” process from project identification and business case development through operational installation.
· Collaborates across engineering, feedstock sales, and development teams to assess new opportunities and/or technologies. Supports the development of business cases as required
· Manages multiple complex operational and capital improvement projects simultaneously
· Consistent and on-time attendance
· Other duties as assigned.
Operations Engineer Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in biosystems, chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering, or a similar field
· 3-5 years of engineering or operations experience in a similar role
· Hybrid schedule out of Weston, MA office
· Flexibility to travel to operational project sites as needed
· The Operations Engineer will be Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Operations Engineer Preferred Qualifications:
· Postgraduate degree in Environmental Management or Renewable Energy is desirable.
· Excellent verbal and written English skills are desirable.
· Strong knowledge and understanding of operational and environmental issues, processes, and impacts, particularly linked to renewable energy.
· Experience in anaerobic digestion, wastewater treatment, and/or food chemistry preferred
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Positive attitude with a high level of integrity and dependability
· Results oriented with an ability to work under tight timelines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
