AD Energy is partnering with a leading developer and operator within the renewable energy / RNG space to appoint a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across North America.
This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role supporting a growing, multi-site platform across the U.S. and Canada. You’ll play a critical part in shaping the people strategy, strengthening HR infrastructure, and supporting operational growth across a technically driven, fast-evolving business.
This position offers the opportunity to operate at both strategic and operational level, working closely with regional leadership while remaining embedded in the day-to-day delivery of HR.

Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Operations
• Lead and manage all HR activities across North America, covering the full employee lifecycle
• Provide day-to-day leadership and development of the regional HR team
• Act as the central HR point of contact for employees, managers, and senior stakeholders
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
• Partner with hiring managers to assess workforce needs and drive recruitment strategy
• Lead full-cycle recruitment including job design, candidate assessment, and offer management
• Support long-term workforce planning and succession strategies
Employee Relations & Performance
• Manage employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations
• Support managers in building high-performing teams through structured performance frameworks
• Drive a consistent, fair, and compliant approach to people management
Compliance & Policy
• Ensure full compliance with U.S. and Canadian employment legislation
• Maintain and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and documentation
• Deliver training and guidance to managers and employees on compliance and best practice
• Support audits and ensure accurate, confidential record-keeping
HR Systems, Data & Reporting
• Oversee HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy across employee data, compensation, and lifecycle changes
• Generate and analyse HR metrics to provide insights to leadership
• Support data-driven decision-making across workforce and performance
Compensation, Benefits & Administration
• Coordinate payroll processes and benefits administration across multiple jurisdictions
• Manage employee documentation including contracts, amendments, and terminations
• Oversee Workers’ Compensation programmes
Health, Safety & Risk
• Support Health & Safety initiatives in line with OSHA and regional requirements
• Partner with site leadership on safety culture, training, and incident management
Employee Development & Engagement
• Design and deliver training programmes across compliance, leadership, and professional development
• Support employee engagement initiatives and organisational culture development
Immigration & Mobility
• Support visa applications, renewals, and work authorisation processes for employees across the region
Business Partnering
• Work closely with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and wider organisational initiatives
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in a hands-on HR leadership role, ideally within industrial, energy, manufacturing, or multi-site environments
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian employment legislation
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic input with operational delivery
• Experience building or improving HR processes within a growing or evolving organisation
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
• High level of organisation, attention to detail, and discretion
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, change-driven environment
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and standard business tools
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in HR management or leadership roles
