About the Role
As Head of RNG Construction, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of RNG construction projects across the country.
This is a remote position within the U.S., requiring strong leadership, strategic oversight, and deep technical expertise in RNG or biogas project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects in a senior leadership capacity and is comfortable working across multiple geographies and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and scale all RNG construction activities across a growing national project portfolio.
• Establish and optimise project delivery processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Manage construction schedules, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Oversee internal construction teams as well as third-party contractors and EPC partners.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure seamless project handoffs and execution.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and utility partners.
• Provide regular project reporting and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence across all construction activities.
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in construction management or project delivery roles within the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
• Minimum 5 years leading RNG, biogas, or related renewable energy construction projects at a senior level.
• In-depth understanding of RNG technologies, anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading systems, and utility interconnections.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously in different locations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed across the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
