Director of Procurement – Renewable Energy Infrastructure

Job Description

Step into a key leadership role with a market-leading renewable energy developer that is reshaping the way America powers its future. With over 20 active and in-development projects across more than 13 states, we are aggressively scaling our national footprint—and we’re looking for a proven Director of Procurement to drive strategic supply chain leadership at the center of this transformation.

Our organization develops, owns, and operates anaerobic digestion facilities that convert organic waste and agricultural byproducts into clean electricity and renewable natural gas. Backed by major institutional capital and operating at the forefront of energy and sustainability innovation, this is a fast-moving environment where high performance, speed, and precision are non-negotiable.

Your Impact

As Director of Procurement, you’ll own and lead all procurement operations—developing strategy, managing supplier relationships, and enabling the successful delivery of complex, multimillion-dollar RNG infrastructure projects. You’ll interface directly with Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Legal, ensuring our supply chain is agile, efficient, and scalable as we deliver cutting-edge, sustainable energy solutions.

• Maintain supplier qualification systems and performance benchmarks.

Financial Management – Own procurement department P&L, budgeting, and KPI tracking.

• Support financial modelling and pricing strategies for new projects.

• Collaborate with Finance to leverage Inflation Reduction Act opportunities.

• Identify and mitigate supply chain risk across a diverse national project base.=

Team Leadership – Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing procurement team.

• Define OKRs and drive a culture of ownership and collaboration.
