Job Description

AD Energy is working with a new client in the Smart Energy Solutions and Solar Generation sector. As a NASDAQ-listed organisation and recognised throughout the world as a tier-one manufacturer, our client continues to achieve success in the market. They are looking to aggressively grow their Central European Operation, starting with a DACH Strategic Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Regional DACH Director
  • Alongside the Director, develop and execute the regional commercial plan to increase market share and revenue
  • Develop middle and long-term sales and accounts objectives with the Regional Director
  • Work closely with key accounts and clients, ensuring positive and continued partnerships with them, ensuring exceptional customer care
  • Grow your own network of key solar PV connections with Installers, System Integrators, Module Manufacturers, and leading OEM partners
  • Approach developing client network base for business opportunities
  • Keep up to date with trends and commercial opportunities within the Solar PV Residential and Commercial markets in DACH
  • Be the first point of contact in DACH market for existing key accounts and new clients for concerning business or product enquires
  • Deliver training and education to partners and business prospects on the company and also product portfolio
  • Conduct business follow-up and sales closure negotiations
  • Deliver sales, key accounts reports and forecasting
  • Assist in regional marketing and new product sales launches
  • Propose product solutions for client requirements
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure clients receive the best level of customer service: sales, marketing, customer technical service, finance e.t.c
  • Be an advocate and representative of the company for business and industry events

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or electrical discipline is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical key account management or B2B sales background
  • Must have a direct working history within the DE or DACH solar and PV sector, particularly for a high-end solar manufacturer
  • Must possess an existing network within the DACH solar market with Installers, Integrators, and other solar manufacturers
  • Have a proven background in executing key sales plans and growing market share
  • A strong technical aptitude for high-quality products – the ability to sell their technical features
  • Experience at least selling via indirect channels of electro-power or smart energies equipment (electrical, roofing, HVAC, metering, energy sensor equipment)
  • Have a positive and proactive can-do attitude
  • Be results orientated and self-motivated
  • Must speak German at a professional working level
  • Possess a clear customer focus, with great professional communication
  • Drive for continuous improvement personally and professionally
  • Demonstrate and up to date knowledge and know-how of the local DACH solar PV market
  • Smart with sales forecasting reporting tools, as well as internal software or Office
  • Flexibility to travel within DACH and also to HQ
  • Ability to work in high pressure and fast-paced business culture
