AD Energy has been instructed to find a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to lead a utility-scale solar projects division. As a Regional Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, development, and execution of solar energy projects, contributing to the transition to clean and sustainable energy sources. This is a dynamic and leadership-focused role that requires expertise in utility-scale solar project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management – Manage the development, construction, and operation of utility-scale solar projects in the Southeast region, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Team Leadership – Build and lead a high-performing regional team, including project managers, and technicians, to ensure the successful execution of solar projects.

Business Development – Identify and evaluate potential utility-scale solar project opportunities within the region. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, utilities, landowners, and financial institutions. Develop and execute strategies for winning new contracts and securing new projects. Conduct market analysis and stay updated on industry trends to identify new business opportunities.

Regulatory Compliance – Stay up to date with regional and national regulations and permitting processes, ensuring all projects adhere to local laws and environmental standards.

Financial Management – Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and report on financial performance.

Stakeholder Engagement – Develop and maintain strong relationships with local communities, landowners, utilities, and government authorities, promoting a positive image of the company.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance – Ensure that safety measures and environmental protocols are followed on all projects, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.

Quality Assurance – Implement quality control measures to guarantee that all projects meet industry standards and deliver on promised performance metrics.

Reporting and Documentation – Prepare regular reports and documentation related to project progress, financial performance, and any issues or risks that may arise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

• Proven experience in managing utility-scale solar projects, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

• Knowledge of solar PV technology, utility-scale systems, and energy storage solutions.

• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders.

• Understanding of regional energy policies, regulations, and environmental considerations.

• Ability to travel as needed within the [Region] and occasionally to other locations.

• PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.

• Passion for clean energy and a commitment to sustainability.

• Results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
