AD Energy has partnered exclusively with a global solar photovoltaic OEM, seeking to hire a Senior Sales Manager to drive growth in Vietnam! The chosen candidate will join a renowned provider of cutting-edge solar inverter-optimizers, monitoring systems, and energy storage technologies across various solar market segments. This role, reporting to the APAC Sales Director, will play a pivotal role in expanding business endeavours and capitalizing on opportunities with key clientele.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing, managing, and executing sales and marketing strategies
- Collaborating with the APAC Sales Director to secure new business ventures, projects, and market share
- Identifying local sales and commercial demands
- Monitoring sales progress and taking corrective measures to meet ambitious targets
- Managing channel sales partners and seeking new partnerships
- Conducting client visits to drive sales within the commercial and industrial solar installation sector
- Cultivating positive relationships with installers, EPCs, and Project Developers
- Acting as a brand advocate by conducting competitor sales market research
- Providing technical product and solutions training
- Contributing market knowledge for product development
- Staying updated on technological advancements and product developments
- Managing Junior Sales Manager and regional technical support team
- Collaborating with sales and marketing teams at APAC HQ
- Assisting in day-to-day subsidiary operation and team growth
Requirements:
- Technical degree in engineering, electronics, renewables, or related field
- Direct experience in Solar PV or Energy Storage sector; solar inverter technology experience preferred
- Proven sales and commercial experience in the Vietnam
- Deep understanding of the local solar or energy market
- Background in expanding sales channels and increasing market share of technical products
- Strong technical acumen to understand and explain complex system functionalities
- Client-oriented with proactive and independent work ethic
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with rounded experience in sales, business development, and technical support
- Willingness to travel nationally and frequently
