AD Energy are in exclusive partnership with a leading Renewable Energy Manufacturer, an international premium brand with established markets in Residential and C&I Solar and Energy Storage applications! The business has gone through rapid growth in the last 5 years, consolidating their brand name as one of the top 5 in the world within their niche market: integrating their innovative products with module manufacturers and solar pv projects across the Globe. Within their thriving Utilities division now, they are seeking a Senior Key Account Manager- Utility Sweden (Nordics).

This role will be a significant hire in the region as the sole primary contact for Utility scale commercial matters. The post-holder will have the fundamental responsibility to lead, manage, and coordinate business development and account management opportunities in the utility solar projects space.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Reporting to the European Director of Utilities on all relevant operational and commercial strategies in the area (Sweden/ Nordics)
  • Take full commercial sales and business development responsibility within the Utility segment
  • Undertake market research for strategy refinement and business planning
  • Prepare annual plans, monthly sales and sales reports
  • Effectively implement and execute market sales/ commercial strategy
  • Maintain, pursue, and establish further business relations with regional Installers, EPC, Developers, Project Leaders
  • Pursue a proactive market approach for new client acquisition
  • Keep abreast of influencing market drivers, competitive market factors that might potentially effect company market share
  • Successfully and actively work on increasing market share- brand positioning within the Solar Ground mount Utilities market
  • Coordinate necessary internal and external support from sales, business development, marketing, technical service departments
  • Be an advocate for the brand and company, be fully immersed with the utility product portfolio and developments
  • Participate in industry exhibitions, tradeshows, conference and relevant meeting as leading company representative

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ local sales leadership and key account management experience within the Solar PV Industry
  • Must have direct experience in the utilities, large-scale, megawatt solar parks and pv plant projects sector
  • Must have a proven track record of securing solar (equipment sales/ project) pipeline
  • Possess in depth and extensive PV Utilities or Energy Generation market knowledge
  • Direct commercial experience and knowledge about solar inverters and pv systems components would be highly advantageous
  • Possess an established network with credible contacts in the solar utilities market
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation and communication skills
  • Strategic and flexible nature, able to adapt accordingly to high pressure and dynamic market
  • Ability to prioritize high priority demands and workloads, work effectively in intense environment
  • Ability to be a keen and supportive team player
  • Commercial and solutions- orientated
  • Detail-orientated, a good problem solver
  • Fluent Swedish & English language abilities
