AD Energy is recruiting on behalf of a cutting-edge new energy platform company that operates under the complete ownership of a global and well-renowned appliance and electronics group. This new dynamic enterprise encompasses three crucial industries: Photovoltaic, Power Conversion, and Energy Storage, focusing on the creation of an extensive service platform that provides solutions for a rapidly growing and evolving market.

Our client will enhance the Group’s existing product range by offering a fully integrated suite of services, including solar inverters, residential and commercial storage solutions, electric vehicle (EV) chargers, and solar modules- the complete smart home energy management solution and C&I ESS solutions!

To penetrate the European market, this innovative division will collaborate with specialized distributors, electrical wholesalers, and technical Installers companies. They are now seeking a DACH Senior Sales Manager for the region to support building and maintaining relationships with those key B2B industry partners, you will be an integral member of the German Team!

Key responsibilities:

  • Reporting to European Business Unit Management
  • Full commercial sales and business development responsibility in the region concerned
  • Undertake market research for strategy refinement and business planning
  • Prepare annual plans, monthly sales and P/L sales reports
  • Focus on pursing sales with full range of solar and electrical installers
  • Devise a distribution and wholesale partnership plan
  • Effectively implement and execute commercial market strategy
  • Meet sales and commercial targets set
  • Utilise and pursue business relations with larger sized Distributors, EPC and Systems Integrators
  • Keep abreast of influencing market drivers, competitive market factors that might potentially affect company market share
  • Successfully and actively work on increasing market share within the DACH area
  • Pursue a proactive market approach for new client acquisition
  • Organise sales and product training seminars
  • Coordinate internal and external support for sales, business development, and marketing within the business
  • Be an advocate for the brand and company, be fully immersed with the product portfolio
  • Participate in industry exhibitions, tradeshows, conference, and relevant meeting as leading company representative


Key Requirements:

  • Degree-educated within Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or relevant technical discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years’ local senior sales and sales management experience within the Solar PV Industry
  • Proven experience of increasing market share and sales in a competitive energy market
  • Proven background in meeting sales and business development targets set
  • Tenacious and persistent sales management skills
  • In depth and extensive solar PV market knowledge and technical product ability
  • An active and current network with large distributors, full range of installer, EPC, and engineering partners within the DACH region
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strategic and flexible nature, able to adapt accordingly
  • Ability to prioritize high priority demands and workloads, work effectively in intense environment
  • Detail-orientated, a good problem solver
  • Fluent English and German language ability
  • Readily mobile for work related travel
