Position Overview:

We are seeking an ambitious, tech-savvy, and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join the well-established dynamic team in the Netherlands.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing B2B partner businesses (installers and smaller epcs), developing successful sales strategies, and driving revenue growth for the company in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Head of Sales Benelux
  • Identify and close sales opportunities in alignment with company strategic plans and financial objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with solar sales channels, strategic accounts, installers, distributors, and utility companies.
  • Provide revenue forecasts, review sales results, and take corrective action as needed to meet targets.
  • Cultivate relationships with leading PV project developers to ensure SolarEdge remains their preferred supplier.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in the company CRM system.
  • Collaborate with product management teams to enhance the product portfolio based on customer feedback and industry trends.
  • Provide input on marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the territory.
  • Act as an external evangelist for the brand, executing brand and messaging strategies at tradeshows and conferences.
  • Liaise with local and international teams to define and meet sales targets.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; technical disciplines such as Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in technical sales, with previous experience in the PV industry being advantageous.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing large deals.
  • Strong technical aptitude to understand and effectively communicate the benefits of company’s products.
  • Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Customer service-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working for an international organization is a plus.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
