Our client is a leader in RNG Engineering, they are tackling today’s environmental challenges by designing and delivering renewable energy projects that transform waste into sustainable solutions. We’re looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to help lead our clients mission to decarbonize infrastructure and innovate in the biogas and clean energy space.
The salary for this role is set at $150,000 + Package. It’s a Remote US role.
Serve as the Engineer of Record, leading engineering design from concept through commissioning
Review and oversee P&IDs, design calculations, drawings, and deliverables to ensure quality, compliance, and technical excellence
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams to keep projects on track—on scope, schedule, and budget
Support construction and procurement phases, participate in HAZOP reviews, conduct site visits, and help resolve field issues
Lead quality control throughout the design and build phases, while maintaining documentation and technical records
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or a related engineering field
PE license (required)
5–7+ years in engineering design, ideally with EPC experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or biogas
Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (NEC, ASME, etc.)
Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, HYSYS, Revit, Civil 3D, and ETAP
Experience in commissioning and start-up of plants
A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
