AD Energy is recruiting on behalf of a cutting-edge new energy platform company that operates under the complete ownership of a global and well-renowned appliance and electronics group. This new dynamic enterprise encompasses three crucial industries:

Photovoltaic, Power Conversion, and Energy Storage, focusing on the creation of an extensive service platform that provides solutions for a rapidly growing and evolving market.

Our client will enhance the Group’s existing product range by offering a fully integrated suite of services, including solar inverters, residential and commercial storage solutions, electric vehicle (EV) chargers, and solar modules- the complete smart home energy management solution and C&I ESS solutions!

To penetrate the European market, this innovative division will collaborate with specialized distributors, electrical wholesalers, and utilities. They are now seeking a Technical Presales Engineer to support those industry partners.

The Technical Presales Engineer will be primarily responsible for conveying high-quality technical expertise to current and potential stakeholders engaged in the design, installation, and maintenance of PV systems utilizing the product line.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Presentations:

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to diverse stakeholders.
• Engage with installers, system designers, and distributors, either in collaboration with local sales colleagues or independently, to discuss their needs and showcase solutions.

Customer Interaction:

• Record and track customer requests, ensuring their needs are addressed effectively.
• Create system designs based on customer requirements, offering tailored solutions. Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure local product certification and adherence to relevant regulations. This involves close collaboration with sales, support, and R&D teams based in HQ

Competitor Analysis:

• Establish and maintain a database of competitors’ solutions available in the market to demonstrate the unique selling points (USPs) of products.

Key Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualities:

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, providing support to colleagues when necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive “can-do” attitude and a desire to thrive in a rapidly evolving global company.


• The role entails regular travel within the DACH Region for training, meetings, and exhibitions.
• Occasional travel may be required to support customers in other markets or participate in trade shows and events within Europe.


• Ideally, you hold a technical or engineering-related degree or master’s, such as Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.

Professional Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the solar industry is required.
• Knowledge and experience in renewables, especially inverters, would be highly advantageous but not mandatory.
